A natural menopause supplement for those looking for non HRT remedies

Now that modern HRT is safe and effective, believe me, I'm a big fan. Nothing replaces hormones as effectively as body identical hormone replacement medication.

HOWEVER I have met many women in our clinic who can't or don't want to go down the HRT route. If that's you and you’re looking for an alternative natural menopause supplement to help relieve your symptoms, I've got something for you!

I was so thrilled when I was asked by Feel Supplements to help them develop their new Menopause formula. I was already a fan of their products which are evidence based, vegan, allergen-free, gluten free, soya-free, cruelty-free, halal, kosher and non-GMO.

We have created this natural menopause supplement to really target some of the troublesome symptoms like hot flushes, night sweats, mood swings, brain fog, fatigue and memory loss.

Here's a snippet from my visit to the Feel head office!

Here's what we've included in the formula;

Red Clover extract

Red Clover contains powerful isoflavones, a type of phytoestrogen. Phytoestrogens have a similar makeup to oestrogen, the female hormone which declines with menopause, and it’s this decline that’s responsible for many of the unpleasant symptoms of menopause.

Sage Leaf

Common sage has a long history of aiding menopause symptoms, containing over 160 polyphenols plant compounds thought to show health benefits.

Siberian Ginseng

Siberian ginseng has been used for centuries for its potent adaptogenic properties. Ginseng is thought to help decrease the effects of oestrogen withdrawal experienced during menopause.

Beetroot

The nitrates found in beetroot are thought to promote brain function by encouraging blood flow to the brain, supplying the brain with oxygen and energy and promoting cognitive performance.

Broccoli

Broccoli contains antioxidants to support powerful health-protective effects. The main antioxidant in broccoli is sulforaphane, which is thought to support brain function and facilitate healthy ageing.

Dandelion Root

Dandelion root contains high levels of bioactive compounds and antioxidants, which help to provide strong protection against oxidative damage and help support healthy ageing

Maca

Maca is a plant grown in Peru, and used for centuries for energy, stamina and hormone balance. The Peruvian nickname for it is ‘nature’s viagra’ due to it's ability to help with stamina and libido! Yellow Maca is thought to contain mood-balancing flavonoids with research showing an ability to decrease anxiety and depression.

Pantothenic Acid (B5)

Pantothenic acid (Vitamin B5 as D-Calcium Pantothenate) is needed to make coenzyme A (CoA) which is a chemical compound that helps enzymes convert food into energy and regulate fat metabolism.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 (as Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate) plays a significant role in mood regulation, as it is necessary for creating neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine, and GABA, all of which help regulate emotions.

Folic acid

Folic acid (Vitamin B9 as Calcium-L-Methylfolate) is essential for the production of red blood cells, which transport oxygen around the body. A good supply of oxygen is necessary for essential energy production.

Vitamin B12

Vitamin B12 (as Methylcobalamin) plays a vital role in synthesising and metabolising serotonin, the chemical responsible for regulating mood. Maintaining good B12 levels may support bone health by encouraging good bone mineral density, which can decrease due to drop in oestrogen during menopause.
