About Us

Hi, I'm Nicki.

I'm an award-winning nutritionist, author, speaker and women’s health expert.

But I wasn't always this clued up about my hormones……Far from it!

I was the chubby kid at school and the grown up girl who ate pizzas, burgers and partied hard most nights. I lived my life jumping from one fad diet to the next.
So what on earth happened to turn my life around? I hit 40, and couldn’t do it any more. My body had gone through 2 pregnancies, and while my kids were amazing, it was hard work juggling family and a stressful career. I didn’t have the time or energy to look after myself. I couldn’t get into my old clothes and the extreme diets I did try weren’t working any more!

I was losing control of my body and the negative self talk was really affecting my confidence and my relationships. Something had to change!

My doctor couldn’t help. In fact he offered me anti-depressants! I knew that wasn’t the answer. So I asked my dad...
It just so happens that he’s a renowned natural health doctor, but like a typical daughter I had ignored his advice most of my life! But this time was different – I was ready to listen.
He helped me get my hormones properly tested.

The test results showed that I had multiple hormone imbalances!

With his help I learned simple natural solutions including diet, lifestyle and natural supplements.
I couldn’t believe how much better I felt. I immediately started to lose weight, my energy came back, my brain fog lifted and I was much more fun to be around.

I had no idea how powerful a role hormones play in how you look and feel.

I was so impressed with the results that I quit my job and went back to college. After thousands of hours researching, writing papers and listening to experts all over the world, I qualified as a nutritionist and started to help the many women who, like me, were missing the support they desperately needed.
And things got so busy, I had to get some help! Luckily for me, I found the most amazing fellow Nutritional Therapists to help me. Read about my amazing team below.
We are now helping hundreds of women all over the world to regain control of their hormones through our 1-1 coaching, personalised testing, group workshops, online programmes, webinars and talks (both private and corporate).

Meet The Happy Hormones Team

Nicki Williams

Founder & Nutritionist – BA (Hons), dipION, mBANT, CNHC

After failing to find any medical help for her symptoms of exhaustion, weight gain and hormone issues herself in her early 40’s, Nicki discovered that she could turn things around using diet, lifestyle and natural supplements.

She went on to qualify as a nutritional therapist and hormone expert, and now helps women all over the world with her online programmes, hormone testing, workshops and individual and group coaching.

Lauren Lovell

Operations Manager – BCom, dipION, mBANT, CNHC

After healing her PCOS and anaemia through food and supplements, Lauren went on to qualify as a Nutritional Therapist, specialising in hormones and gut health.

Originally from South Africa, Lauren is a true foodie (and science geek!), and is passionate about helping others to implement healthy habits in and around their busy lifestyles.

She now manages all our client programmes, helping women all over the world to look, feel, think and perform at their very best.

Bex Prade

Functional Medicine Practitioner & Nutritional Therapist – IFMCP, DipCNM, mBANT, CNHC

After growing up on a farm in New Zealand, Bex relocated to Europe in her 20’s for work, where she struggled with severe IBS and acne putting added pressure on her personal and professional life. Looking for natural ways to manage her pain, bloating and skin issues took her on a journey resulting in her becoming a Registered Nutritionist and Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner.

Bex is passionate about educating her clients about the power of diet and lifestyle and helps men and women to overcome even the most complex health issues using natural, science-backed solutions.

Zara Watt

Nutritionist & Health Coach – BSc(Hons), dipION, mBANT, CNHC

Zara was diagnosed with endometriosis in her late 30s, and was told it would be very difficult for her to get pregnant. Her life-long interest in health and nutrition was pushed to the next level as she researched ways to balance her hormones naturally and sought the help of a nutritionist, and eventually had a daughter.

Experiencing first-hand how powerful nutrition can be, she now specialises in working with women going through perimenopause and menopause, and is passionate about supporting women through this stage of life.

Rachel Philpotts

Nutritionist and Mental Health Specialist – MSc, AFMCP, mBANT, CNHC

Rachel’s career-girl lifestyle caught up with her in her 30’s and left her a shadow of her former self.  She was oblivious to the impact that her diet and stress-levels were having on her energy levels and mood. It took total burnout to make her realise something had to change. After making some simple nutrition and lifestyle changes, the dark clouds lifted and she was able to regain her health.

Rachel promptly “quit corporate” and retrained as a nutritionist, specialising in mental health. She now helps other tired and wired career women to improve their mood naturally and feel revitalised, reenergised and restored.

Kal Ratcliffe

Nutritionist & Gut Health Specialist – BSc NT, mBANT, CNHC

Kal's passion for nutrition developed when challenged with her own gut and fertility health that led her to retrain so she could share this powerful information with others who may also be suffering.  She firmly believes no one should suffer in silence and there are answers out there for everyone.  Kal is committed to helping women by using evidence based nutritional science to restore their health and regain their vitality.

She helps women struggling with digestive issues including IBS by supporting gut health through natural solutions – this often helps other symptoms related to autoimmunity, thyroid or hormone imbalance.

Danielle Roche

Nutritional Therapist & Hormone Health Specialist - DipNT (CNM), mBANT, mCNHC

After suffering with heavy, debilitating periods, anaemia and fibroids in her early 30’s and not getting any helpful solutions from mainstream medicine, Danielle sought the help of a Nutritional Therapist and after following her recommended supplement programme, Danielle's periods were lighter with less bloating and cramping and the anaemia subsided.

Danielle was so pleased with her results that she decided to re-train to become a Nutritional Therapist and now specialises in helping women to balance their hormones for healthy, natural and painless periods, with solutions that work in harmony with the female body.

Rachel Maan

Nutritionist & Hormone Health Specialist – MSc, dipION, mBANT, CNHC

At 40 Rachel was struggling with life. Working part time and studying full time, with two young children and a busy husband, was hard enough.  Then her father fell seriously ill.  The stress of caring for her family, meeting endless deadlines nearly led to burn out. She suffered mood swings, poor sleep and felt exhausted and foggy.

Thankfully her studies as a nutritionist helped her to address the hormone imbalances and stress that were wreaking havoc in her life by slowly changing her diet and lifestyle. Now, nothing makes her happier than helping other women to do the same, so they can feel rebalanced, re-energised and ready to embrace life again.

Nikki Hooper

Nutritionist & Hormone Health Specialist – BA (Hons), dipCNM, mBANT, CNHC

Nikki experienced an early menopause in her 40's and felt that her life was unravelling in front of her own eyes. Her carefree, happy go lucky lifestyle of her 20s and 30s seemed a distant memory as she struggled to hold down her corporate career. Brain fog, hot flushes and zero energy became her day to day life. And a life which was making her pretty miserable.

Nikki is now passionate about helping women through this time of life. She is on a mission to empower, educate and support women to understand their bodies and get them back to being on top of their game and feeling fabulous.

Jo Bridger

Onboarding Manager & Nutritionist – BSc. (Hons), DipION, mBANT, CNHC

Jo turned to nutrition to tackle a life-long weight problem, losing over seven stone in five years and in the process, discovering the power of a healthy diet. This fascination with nutrition grew even deeper when, aged 40, she was diagnosed with oestrogen positive breast cancer. As well as undergoing the recommended NHS treatment, Jo used diet and lifestyle changes to help regain control of her health during and after treatment, and has not looked back.

Jo is now our Client Onboarding Manager making sure every client gets VIP treatment from day 1!

Rebecca Rama

Client Services Assistant & Nutritionist – DipNT (CNM), mBANT, mCNHC

Rebecca's passion for health and nutrition came about after working through her own debilitating issues with IBS, acne and low energy. Experiencing first hand the positive influence of nutrition, she decided to leave the corporate world and retrain as a Nutritional Therapist.

Rebecca is our Client Services Assistant, helping us to provide a second to none client experience.

Faye Smallwood

Client Care Manager & Nutritionist BA (Hons), DipCNM, mBANT, CNHC

20 years working on the London media scene, whilst fun, certainly took its toll on Faye’s health resulting in chronic IBS and skin issues. After failing to find help via traditional routes and trying every “miracle product” out there, Faye found supporting her health through nutrition and lifestyle medicine to be the only effective long-term solution.

Faye now works in the Client Care team delivering Happy Hormones love to our amazing clients each day.

Our vision at Happy Hormones for Life is to educate, inspire, empower and support women of all ages to feel BETTER THAN EVER.
